Inventory

Set up your products, categories, options, services and locations, and keep stock accurate as you sell.

Create a product

Add a new product with its options, prices and stock.

  1. On the Inventory page, tap Add Product. If your store has no categories or option values yet, a dialog shows what to set up first and links you to Settings.
  2. Enter a product name (up to 50 characters), choose a category, and set a default price. Optionally upload a square product image.
  3. Add at least one option row: pick option-value chips (for example "M · Rose Gold"), review the auto-generated SKU code (which you can edit), and set stock (when tracking is on) and price. Helpers let you copy the default price to every option or convert a price to your store currency.
  4. Tap Save Changes.
  • The product is created at your currently active location, and each option becomes its own SKU.
  • SKU limits by plan: Free 50, Grow 1,000, Max 10,000. At the cap you are prompted to upgrade.
  • SKU codes may use only letters, numbers, underscores and hyphens, and must be unique across your store.
  • Images can be JPEG, PNG, WebP or HEIC up to 10 MB and are stored at 800×800.
  • When inventory tracking is off, stock fields are hidden.

Edit a product

Change a product's details, options and stock.

  1. Tap Edit on a product card, or select the product from global search.
  2. Update the name, category, price, image, location, attached services, and each option's stock, price or SKU code. Add or remove options as needed.
  3. Tap Save Changes — available only once you have made a change.
  • Removing an option that is in someone's cart shows a warning with the number affected.
  • Edits made by different people at the same time are merged.
  • Closing with unsaved changes prompts you to discard them.
  • Replacing or removing an image requires an internet connection.
  • SKU codes follow the same rules and limits as when creating a product.

Delete a product

Remove a product from your inventory.

  1. Tap Delete on a product card.
  2. Confirm removal. If the product is in the active cart, you see a warning first.
  • Deleting a product requires an internet connection.

Star products into the Custom list

Group your favourite products into a quick-access list.

  1. Tap the star icon on a product card to add it to, or remove it from, the Custom list.
  2. Tap the Custom list stat card to filter the view to your starred products.
  • The Custom list is also available as a view mode at the point of sale.

Mark best sellers

Highlight top products in the Best Sales view.

  1. Tap the flame icon on a product card to force it into Best Sales.
  2. Tap the Best Sales stat card to filter the list to best sellers.
  • Products that already meet your store's sales threshold qualify automatically and cannot be toggled — you see an info message.
  • Automatic qualification uses your store's best-seller threshold and lookback period, set in Preferences.

Filter and search inventory

Find products by category, stat card or search.

  1. Filter by category using the category pills, or tap a stat card (Low stock, Custom list, Best sales) to toggle its filter.
  2. Use global search to match a product name, SKU code or category (up to 8 results). Selecting a result opens its edit dialog.
  • The list always reflects your active location.
  • Which stats appear depends on mode: with tracking on you see Total Value, Total Stock, Low Stock and Custom list; with tracking off you see Total Products, Total SKUs, Best Sales and Custom list.
  • Low stock uses your store's low-stock threshold.

Manage categories

Create, rename and delete the categories that organise your products.

  1. Go to Settings, open the Product tab, and find the Categories card.
  2. Create a category (names are automatically title-cased and duplicates are rejected), rename one, or delete one.
  3. To delete a category that is in use, first reassign its products to another category — the Delete button unlocks once nothing uses it.
  • Categories cannot be reordered — you can only create, rename or delete them.
  • There is no limit on the number of categories.
  • Managing categories requires an internet connection.

Manage option groups and values

Define the options and values used to build product SKUs.

  1. Go to Settings, open the Product tab, and find the Option Groups card.
  2. Create groups (for example "Size") and values (for example "S", "M") — these fill the option chips when you add product SKUs.
  3. Rename groups or values from their edit dialogs. Deleting a value or group that is in use walks you through removing it from affected products first.
  • At least one option value must exist before you can create a product.
  • Managing option groups requires an internet connection.

Manage additional services

Set up services you can attach to products and add at sale time.

  1. Go to Settings, open the Product tab, and find the Services card.
  2. Add a service with a name and price (a $0 price asks for confirmation), edit one, or delete one — which detaches it from products first.
  • Services attach to products in the product dialog and can be added to cart lines at the time of sale.
  • Managing services requires an internet connection.

Manage locations and relocate products

Create locations and move products between them.

  1. Go to Settings, open the Product tab, and find the Locations card.
  2. Create a location (up to your plan's limit), rename one, or delete one — the default location cannot be deleted.
  3. With two or more locations, use Relocate to bulk-move selected products from one location to another.
  • New products land at your active location, and the active location filters both the point of sale and Inventory.
  • Location limits by plan: Free 5, Grow 10, Max 50. At the cap you are prompted to upgrade.
  • Managing locations requires an internet connection.

Stock tracking

How stock levels change automatically as you sell.

  1. Completing a sale automatically reduces stock for the SKUs sold.
  2. Make manual stock corrections in a product's Edit dialog.
  • Low-stock badges reflect your store's low-stock threshold.
  • Negative stock is allowed only if your store's oversell setting permits it.
  • When inventory tracking is off, stock is not tracked.
