Getting Started

Everything you need to create your account, set up your store, and start using Uniobject.

Create your account

Set up your Uniobject account with an email and password — or with Google, Apple, or LINE when those options are offered.

  1. Open the sign-up page and enter your name, email, and a password — a strength meter shows how strong your password is.
  2. Check the box to agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, then submit. When sign-up with Google, Apple, or LINE is offered, you can tap Continue with that provider instead — the social buttons don't require the checkbox; a short note beneath them links the same Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
  3. If an account already exists for your email, a message guides you to sign in or reset your password instead.
  4. Enter the 6-digit verification code sent to your email — it submits automatically once all six digits are entered, and you can resend it after a 60-second countdown.
  5. Signing up with Google, Apple, or LINE skips this email verification step, since the provider has already verified you.
  6. Once you're set up, you're signed in and taken to create your store — or back to the invitation or referral that brought you here. The language you were using carries over to your new account.
  • Signing up with an email and password requires email verification — you aren't signed in until you verify, and the code expires after 10 minutes.
  • If you're already signed in, a screen lets you continue to the POS or sign out.
  • The sign-up options can vary — when Google, Apple, or LINE isn't offered, the page shows the email and password form only.
  • If a Google, Apple, or LINE sign-up can't be completed — for example, when the account can't be linked — a message explains what happened. See the account linking rules under Sign in.

Sign in with your email and password, with a passkey, or — when offered — with Google, Apple, or LINE.

  1. Open the sign-in page and enter your email and password — use the show/hide toggle to check your password, then submit to open the POS or the page you were headed to.
  2. Or tap Sign in with a passkey and approve with your device — Face ID, Touch ID, or Windows Hello — to reach the same destination. On supporting browsers, picking your email from the field's suggestions can complete passkey sign-in on its own, with no button tap.
  3. When sign-in with Google, Apple, or LINE is offered, you can tap Continue with that provider, approve access, and you're returned to the same destination.
  • Your session stays signed in for 7 days.
  • If your email or password is incorrect, a general error is shown.
  • Signing in with Google, Apple, or LINE creates a new account automatically if your email isn't registered yet.
  • If you sign in with Google, Apple, or LINE using an email that already belongs to an account, the two are linked automatically once that email is verified. If your existing email-and-password account hasn't been verified yet, linking is blocked with a message — verify your email or reset your password, then try that sign-in again and it links automatically.
  • The method you last used to sign in is remembered and shown in Settings.
  • A passkey works only on the website address where it was created. If you cancel your device's passkey prompt, sign-in simply stops without an error message.

Reset your password

Request a reset link by email and set a new password.

  1. On the sign-in page, select "Forgot password?" and enter your email — a reset link is sent to you.
  2. For your privacy, the confirmation screen looks the same whether or not an account exists for that email.
  3. Open the link in the email, then enter and confirm your new password — a strength meter and a live mismatch warning help you.
  4. After the password is updated, a success screen links you back to sign in.
  • If the reset link has expired or is invalid, a separate screen lets you request a new one.

Create your store

Set up your first store and become its Owner on the Free plan.

  1. Enter a store name — 1 to 50 characters.
  2. Optionally enter a referral code and tap "Apply" — a green check and discount badge confirm a valid code, and you see a specific message for an invalid code, your own code, an inactive referrer, or a code you have already used.
  3. Tap "Create store".
  • You become the Owner of the new store, which always starts on the Free plan. A default location named after your store is set up automatically.
  • Your language and timezone are detected automatically from your browser.
  • There is no plan selection during setup — you can upgrade later in Settings.
  • If a referral code was applied, the matching discount applies when you upgrade.
  • If you already belong to a store, you are taken straight to the POS — this setup is only for people without a store.

Accept a team invitation

Join a store you have been invited to as an Admin or Staff member.

  1. Open the link in your invitation email.
  2. If you are not signed in, sign in or create an account using the invited email address — you return to the invitation afterward.
  3. Once you are signed in, the invitation is accepted automatically and the store becomes your active store.
  4. A celebration screen shows the store name, then takes you to the POS — automatically after 5 seconds, or via the button.
  • You join with the role set in your invitation — either Admin or Staff.
  • Invitations expire after 7 days.
  • You must be signed in with the email address the invitation was sent to. If you are signed in with a different account, a screen lets you sign out and switch accounts.
  • Expired or canceled invitations show a not-found screen.
  • Reopening a link you have already accepted shows the success screen again and makes the store active — not an error.

Install as an app

Install Uniobject to your home screen or desktop for a full-screen, app-like experience.

  1. Open Uniobject in your browser while you are online.
  2. Use your browser's install option — on iPhone or iPad, use Safari's "Add to Home Screen"; on Android or desktop Chrome, use the install prompt.
  3. Launch Uniobject from your home screen or desktop.
  • Installation uses your browser's built-in option — there is no install button inside Uniobject.
  • The first time you launch while online, the app caches what it needs so later launches work offline.
  • On iPhone and iPad, the launch settings are saved at the moment you add Uniobject to the home screen.
